a unique charming character. Here, Grieg's lyric piece March of the Trolls is paired with an excerpt from the Peer Gynt poem. This text is adapted from the sixth scene of Act 2 in Ibsen’s famous play, Peer Gynt. In this scene, the main character, Peer Gynt, finds himself trapped in the Hall of the Mountain King. The text used for this piece is dialogue from the violent troll chorus in which they are shouting out how best to deal with the clever hero.
